Lucy Lumsden

About the artist

I’ve always kept my art practice going but it had to play second fiddle to my career in TV. But as things start to shift and more opportunities present themselves, I’m now able to paint a lot more and I enjoy showing my work regularly at local exhibitions.

My current work is inspired by the characters and landscape of County Antrim in Northern Ireland where I spent a lot of my childhood. It’s a very special corner of the world that I find extremely evocative and I return there whenever I can.
